Didi Budiardjo was showing Paramour, his evening and wedding collection 2008-2009, at Hotel Mulia, Jakarta (23/07). He create hour glass silhouette collection, ranging from slim till spectacularly volume, using material such as chiffon, taffeta, lace, tulle, shantung and organza. The 46 gown and 20 kid’s gown was presented in Paris atmosphere at the 50’s, with the stage designed as a French-garden alike. He brought down the fairy tale world to real, as he is renowned so far.
"Designing with love, experimenting with new thoughts, as well as finding some innovations and new developments, it is inspired by Dior's flowery gown, flower fragrance of Jollie Madame perfume (Pierre Balmain), and the 50's haute couture," the Atelier Fleuri Delaporte Paris alumnus (1991) told. Joining him yesterday was Peter Saerang for make up and hair do, Rinaldy A. Yunardi for accessories, and Fendy Wong Hand Made Shoes.
