Coming Soon, New President Is About To Revealed

Just another fun while the world waits for the result to be revealed. Who will be the president? Not Paris for sure. Otherwise the world would turn pink(ish).

But first things first. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to pick out a vice- president... I'm thinking [the singer-songwriter] Rihanna." Only then does she sign off. "I'll see you at the White House. Oh, and I might paint it pink. I hope that's cool with you guys."

Learning Bahasa, Learning Foreign Language

Many of you might have chances to learn other foreign language. Spanish, French, Dutch, Deutch, Mandarin, Yiddish, ... Those who commuting between countries, having a regular contact with foreigner, I believe, will have a self motivation to learn the related foreign language(s). It takes not only time, but also dedication to learn. And said, having a clear idea of why we are learning a language can help to motivate us in our studies.

English is (almost) always useful, but probably you will found out that speaking English doesn't mean everything. In meetings for example, the people on the other side can discuss things amongst themselves in their own language without the English speakers understanding, and using interpreters slows everything down. In any socializing after the meetings, the locals will probably feel more comfortable using their own language rather than English.

{Found in Youtube a funny 'play' of Australian students in Bahasa. I just realize that the word aduh and asik could be something 'matter' too. Haha.}

Thanks to technology called internet, and globalization, nowadays we could easily pick up some new understanding of other languages. Practical tips to learn the language, how to's, vocabulary & materials, translation service offers, and even reasons on learning other languages are abundantly available to be use.

Although learning resources available both online and at many learning centrals, lack of confidence in practicing the language could hold you back from not speaking out loud the new language. If you are learning any foreign language now, keep on practicing though, and do not mind others laughing on you, I would suggest. And don't let yourself entrapped in an instant-translation-software, available online or in your gadget. Once I have been dealing with a Chinese from Taiwan that does not speaks English or Bahasa, and I do not speaks any Chinese languages. Can you imagine, it was very frustrating hours of meeting, exchanging instant-translated-messages? You bet! Glad, there was something called 'body language' that could be very useful. I was unable to talk deeper, until I met someone else to interpret.

You know, if we do not want to learn the language, we won’t. If we do want to learn the language, take control. Choose content of interest, that we want to listen to and read. Seek out the words and phrases that we need to understand our listening and reading. Do not wait for someone else to show us the language, nor to tell what to do. Discover the language by ourself, like a child growing up. Talk when you feel like it. Write when you feel like it. A teacher cannot teach us to become fluent, but we can learn to become fluent if we want to.

Relax and enjoy yourself! That's what I believe. I myself still learn and keep on learning by listening to foreign language radios, and sometimes read foreign books. And well, do not worry about what we cannot remember, or cannot yet understand, or cannot yet say. It does not matter. We are learning and improving. The language will gradually become clearer in our brain, but this will happen on a schedule that we cannot control. So sit back and enjoy. Just make sure that we spend enough time with the language. That is the greatest guarantee of success.

Monkey Waiters & Optical Illusions

How this works:
Just keep focusing on the dot in the middle of the castle until the end of the video. That's it! Do you know what the illusion is? If you don't get the illusion (and chances are you didn't), watch it again, but this time, without looking at the dot.
Get it now? For those who still can't get it, answer click below.

So what was the illusion? The second picture was grey the entire time and your mind just put all those colors there!! Try again!

Halle Berry, Madonna, Paris Hilton

• Halle Berry Is the Sexiest Woman Alive, 2008! Esquire magazine has her written narrative about sex and taking responsibility for her own sexual fulfillment. So you know.
"Sexiness is also about knowing what’s sexy to you. To me, spaghetti is sexy, especially when it’s served off the tips of a man’s fingers. I like that. And I think wine is sexy, just before sex. It relaxes me. But if I want to get a serious groove on — if I want an out-of-body experience — I’m all about the sloe-gin fizz.

I think lingerie is sexy, and I’ll wear it, sure. But truth is, I’m good-to-go in a tank top and bare feet — although every woman should own at least one good pair of pumps. That’s really the only wardrobe you need for sex: a tank top and pumps. ...

When it comes to what I think is sexy about men, I like forearms. That’s my body part. They’re generally exposed, available, a little bit vulnerable. A forearm is different with every man, and when it comes to forearms, size matters. I don’t like them slight.

Ask me what’s the sexiest car in the world and I’ll just say my man’s car, because it smells like him, because his shape is pressed into the seat, because it’s littered with little bits of his life — his golf balls or his chocolate-bar wrappers — and it’s ripe with the smells of him. That’s the car I most want to ride in.

What else? Ah, yes: the big O. You know that stuff they say about a woman being responsible for her own orgasms? That’s all true. And in my case, that makes me responsible for pretty damned good orgasms these days. Much better orgasms than when I was twenty-two. And I wouldn’t let a man control that. Not anymore. Now I’d invite him to participate. I’ll tell you this: I’ve learned my tricks. I know what I like. I do not wait around. I initiate. And I’m not all about frequency. I favor intensity.

There have been some men in my life who have been wickedly sexy and have taught me much about sexual pleasure. There are a few men I should thank, and others I need to forget. But I don’t regret. To hell with regret. I like what I am now. I like being a mother. I like my body better since I became a mother. I feel sexier as a result of becoming a mother.

You see, the years go by and you learn, and that just deepens your understanding of every experience. And then sex is better — it feels like you’re in control, and you’re sort of not in control at the same time, and that is completely satisfying.

So, yes, there are times when I feel like the sexiest woman alive, but would I ever argue that I am the sexiest woman alive? Of course not. I figure at one moment the sexiest woman alive is a waitress in Abilene, Texas. And in the very next second, it’s a woman in the bush of Vanuatu. Then, right away, somewhere else. Sex and sexiness. It’s all about the moment; it’s about what you know as much as it is what you offer. That’s why I share this title with every woman, because every woman is a nominee for it at any moment. Maybe that’s why there are so many women these guys love.

• Kalau Madonna jadi suster, mau ikutan sakit ga? Mrs. Guy Ritchie, a.k.a. Madonna, was happy to play nurse to the sick patient!

• Paris seeks the advice of the most esteemed fake president of our generation. She responds to that 'wrinkly white-haired guy'. Videonya setelah ini.

Jalan Keberhasilan Mimpi Laskar Pelangi

"Thank God I chose the right people to produce and direct the movie. I already cried just from seeing the trailer," Andrea told The Jakarta Post. "This is not a children's book, but a book about children. It's an irony about a lack of access to education for children in one of the world's wealthiest islands."

Mau dengar? Coba saja Laskar Pelangi dari Nidji, atau juga Tak perlu Keliling Dunia dari Gita Gutawa. Continue >>
